1. The manufacturer warrants the engines (or equipment) for a period of 24
months from delivery date with the following limitations:
- 500
hours for portable generating sets, motorpumps without frame and 3.000 rpm
engines.
- 1.000
hours for professional generating sets and motorpumps with frame.
- 2.000
hours for continuous generating sets and 1.500 rpm engines.
- Always
regarding continuous power (NB curve in engines and generating sets and "green"
curve in motorpumps).
- For
machines without hour meter, we will consider operations of 8 hours per day.
2. Within the mentioned terms, the manufacturer commits itself to:
- Supply
free of charge those parts which, according to their unobjectionable judgement
or of one of their authorized Service Centers, show faults in material,
workmanship or function, or according to the judgement of the manufacturer,
perform the repair of the engines at their authorized Service Centers.
3. Any other liabilities or obligations of the manufacturer are excluded for
further direct or indirect losses or damages caused by the use or from the
impossibility of using either partially or totally the engine (or equipment).
4. The warranty granted and the obligations of the manufacturer cease when the
damage depends upon or is caused by:
- Faulty
installation or application.
- The
use is not according to the manufacturers instructions as described in the
Instruction/Operation Manuals. Maintenance kits for proper maintenance are
available. The user shall demonstrate that the filters have been changed
accordingly.
- Arbitrary
tampering of engine (equipment) or any applied seals.
- Use
of unsuitable fuels or lubricants.
- Normal
wear and tear.
- Repair
works performed by non authorized personnel
- Use
of non original parts
- Engines
(equipment) operated beyond the load limits, gradient and temperature
established or with safety protections, which do not suit the working ambient
conditions without written notification to the manufacturer.
- The
sub-suppliers parts i.e. injection system and electrical devices as well as all
accessories, water pumps, alternators, control boards with their components and
automatic control boards as well as other components that equip the finished
product, are subject to the warranty conditions of their single manufacturers.
- For
engines and finished products submitted to peculiar applications or to heavy
climatic conditions which require the introduction of modifications upon the
cooling system, lubrication, unusual filtering and the use of special auxiliary
equipment, the warranty conditions are valid if expressly agreed in writing for
each case. The recognized warranty on mentioned engines (equipment) is subject
to written approval of the Technical Department for the involved applications.
5. The warranty repairs are performed ex-manufacturers Authorized Centres.
6. The expenses charged to the user are the following:
- Engine
travelling costs to the Authorized Centres.
- Engine
removal and reassembly from and onto the machine.
- Handling
costs of spares used for repair purposes.
- Normal
wear parts (filters, oils, lubricants, v-belts, etc.).
7. The repair or the replaced parts neither extend nor renew the warranty
period.
8. The present warranty certificate cancels and replaces each other warranty
expressed or implicit warranty, which can be altered only by writing.
9. All replaced parts under warranty are property of the manufacturer and have
to be sent back.
IMPORTANT:
The warranty will be cancelled immediately if payment terms are not met.
